What are managed funds?

Managed funds are professionally managed pools of funds which are invested in various asset classes such as shares, property, cash etc. Investors can purchase units in funds and unit prices are quoted daily by the various fund managers. Minimum initial investments range from $1,000 to $5,000.

Many fund managers have Product Disclosure Statements (PDSs) available for download on our web site. Importantly, when investing in managed funds through CMC Markets Stockbroking, we will rebate any entry fees, so all your money is working for you.

We offer a wide range of funds from the leading fund managers. Minimum initial investments range from $1000 to $5000, and you will not pay any entry fees.

All investments must be made using the PDS issued by each fund manager. You can view an online (PDF) version of most PDSs by selecting a fund manager from the menu on the right, or we can mail you a copy.

How to Apply

  • Complete the application form in the Product Disclosure Statement
  • Make out a cheque payable to the fund manager
  • Have a copy of your identification certied. Under the requirements of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006, you must mail us an original certified copy of your identification, unless we have already identified you.   • Send the form, cheque and certified identification to:

  • The first time you access a fund manager's information page from the menu above you will need to agree to our Managed Funds Terms and Conditions. You will only be prompted to agree once per session (a session is a period during which you use our web site, and will expire after 15 minutes of no activity).
  • PDSs available online are in PDF format. You will require Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them. Click here to download a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • If you choose to print an online PDS, we recommend using the "Shrink to fit" or "Fit to page" options.
  • Online PDSs may contain information displayed in colour. If you print the PDS in black and white only, the graphical information may not be clear. You should refer to the electronic PDS or a printed paper copy.
  • Not all PDSs are available online
